After the heartbreaking loss of my dog Brownie, I started pet sitting for friends and family. I found so much healing and joy in it, I decided to turn that love into a full-time service. With word-of-mouth referrals growing, I knew it was time to offer Grandma’s Lovin’ to more pet parents in our community.

Welcome to Grandma's Pet Family

All pets must be current with Vaccines: DOGS *Rabies Vaccine *Distemper/Parvo Vaccine *Bordetella *DHPP *Flea and Tick Control *Influenza *Please speak with your vet *If traveling from out of state a Local Veterinarian Wellness Check is REQUIRED We are unable to provide services for any dogs without the Rabies vaccine due to California/Animal Control law unless you get a waiver from the County of Riverside vet, Dr. Drusys. This is the only vet in Riverside County that we can legally accept a note from. You can reach the office of Dr. Drusys at 951-358-7545. If your dog has reactions to DHPP or Bordetella, we can accept a waiver from your dog's personal vet. CATS, require rabies and FVRCP of one or three years as written by your vet. All vaccines must be given by a licensed veterinarian and may be given up to or including the day of your arrival. Vaccinations given by the owner or anyone else will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to provide us with proof of vaccination prior to your pet’s visit. Grandma looks forward to caring for your pet(s), but we cannot assist you in getting vaccination information. In addition, all dogs (unless you are requesting private/exclusive services) must pass a temperament evaluation to make sure prospective dogs are socially fit for Grandma's program without feeling too anxious or stressed out and that it’s a good fit for everyone involved. I typically like to do an initial assessment with the Paw-Parents spend 10-30 minutes with prospective dogs to get the best feel for how the dog will do in my care. After, I like to do a 2 hour mini doggy day care and will ask the pet parent to leave their dog with me so I can get a better idea of the dog’s temperament while the pet parent is away. If 4 months has lapsed since your last stay, a re-evaluation is required before returning to daycare or boarding.

Boarding/Long Term

Boarding and long term boarding at Grandma Karen's place. Available 7 days a week, plus Holidays. This is a very popular service and books very fast. Regardless of your pet’s breed, age, behavior, or disability, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs. Contact me today for a Meet and Greet. PRICES: Start as low as $30 a night for cat boarding and $55 a night per healthy dog. DOGGIE DAY CARE is by reservation only ($45 per day) Hours of Operation: Monday thru Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm (earlier drop off and late pick up times are available if scheduled ahead of time) Our day care program consists of a playtime and rest time rotation to give the dogs physical and mental breaks and avoid being overwhelmed. Holidays, puppies, and seniors are extra. PRIVATE/EXCLUSIVE services are available (starting at $80 per pet) for those anxious dogs, reactive dogs, hospice care, and dogs that do not do well with others. If you want your dog to be the only one at Grandma's this service is perfect for your fur-baby. Ask Grandma for more details on our private/exclusive services.

I am so excited to share, with Wedding Season fast approaching and many of my clients wanting their pets to be included in their special occasion, I have added Wedding Day Pet Care Services(Special Event Day) to my venue to assist couples who want to incorporate their Pet in their wedding, and/or any special occasion, whether it be an special Birthday or special Anniversary, but don't know how.

Let your Dog, be the Best Dog/Pet of Honor, or the Best Dog on your special occasion, or maybe walk down the isle with the wedding rings.

As your Pet Care provider, I can take the responsibility off your friends, family, and wedding coordinators by providing you with pet care services during this special occasion.

Every wedding is one-of-a-kind and now you can easily include your Pet in your special day making your day as unique as you.

What we mean when we say it’ll be Your Pet’s Best Day Ever:

•Free Meet & Greet before your wedding day- to ensure we get to know you and your dog/pet before your wedding

•Experienced Pet Provider - so your pup/pet will always be in the B E S T of hands

•Round trip pet transportation, ensuring they arrive safe before and after your wedding

•Coordination with all of your vendors before and during the wedding, especially your photographer. This ensures that your dog(s)/pet is always in the right spot at the right time

•Helping them pose for any pictures with a lot of treats and squeaky toys

•Assisting with walking down the aisle in the ceremony

•And most importantly- a day of love and care by Grandma Karen!

Our Puppy Love Packages start at $500 for 4 hours...
Price is based on services for up to two pets.
The duration of your package includes the total time Grandma is physically with your
pet (s), including transportation.

Travel includes 30 miles from zip 92587, $2 per additional mile.

Additional pet $250
Additional time: $100 an hour

Extended Care Discount: For bookings requiring 10 plus hours of on site care, Grandma offers a 30% discount on the additional hours.
